SANTANA EST. 1935
REFIT

Paul recalls lots of "goosebump" moments as the refit neared completion. "I remember when we removed the main mast from the boat, the last time she'd be a yawl. I was really interested to see if the traditional coin was under her mast."
New frames were added to
the engine area.
A "plug" was built for the
new fiberglass cockpit.
A new engine was installed and
enclosed in a sound shield.
The new cockpit was installed
with new teak trim.
The teak decks were refinished. Holes in the bulkhead were repaired.
