SANTANA EST. 1935
REFIT
Paul explained that the process of removing the mast is somewhat dramatic in itself, done with great care as one can never really be sure how easily the mast will come out of the partners, let alone the weight etc.
The new mast was varnished
to a mirror finish.
Hardware so pretty it was almost a shame to mount it, let alone put it 50’ in the air where it couldn’t be seen! A bow sprit constructed with
carbon fiber was laminated.
A faux wood finish was applied
to the bow sprit.
"Will the real wooden bow sprit
please stand up?"
Rather than disturb the stem of the boat
the bow sprit was mounted on a pivot.
